Here's some resources I used to make / decorate my website! I wanted to share what I found so others can start their own journey down the rabbit hole. (´,,•ω•,,)♡ If you want to do some searching on your own, Tumblr and DeviantArt have a lot of resources and graphics to find.

Tools for Choosing Color Palettes
I suck at choosing color schemes so here's some tools that helped me out.
- EyeDropper: allows you to color pick from anything on your screen
- Coolors: my go to color palette generator
- Tailwind CSS: a wide variety of default hex color codes. allows you to see them all in one spot
- Paletton: good for choosing and seeing color schemes
- 2 Color Combinations: big collection of premade two color combos with examples
- Colorspace: generates color palettes based on one color
- Micro Digital Tools: a collection of web tools including lighten/darken hex codes, gradient generator, color palette extractor, etc
Widgets & Things
- Simple Javascript/CSS Jukebox Tutorial: this is the code I used for the music player, made by Solaria
- PetraPixel's Iframe Widget Tool: guide on how to use external widgets, like status cafe, on your website with a free neocities account
- Doqmeat's RSS Tutorial: beginners guide on how to start a RSS feed. a RSS feed allows you to send site updates to those who follow it
- Atabook: a free, customizable guestbook (I use this, it's cool :3)
- imood updater: mood displaying widget
- FC2 Counter: free visitor counter and online viewer counter
- Chattable: the chatbox I use on my site (works with non-supporter neocities accounts)
- JavaScript Calendar: the calendar i use in the bedroom. i had to tweak the code a bit to get it to work how i wanted, feel free to look at my edits
- JavaScript Countdown Timer Guide: a countdown timer. you can only have one on each page from my experience. let me know if you know one that lets your have multiple timers :]

- Solaria's Gif Pauser Tutorial (JavaScript) i use this all over my site. i think giving people the option to view moving images or not is a good way to make your site more accessible
- Common HTML Errors & How to Fix / Avoid Them: the name says all, a very helpful resource
- HTML Semantic Elements: semantic elements are elements with meaning like "aside" or "article"
- 32-Bit Cafe Forum: a great community for web hobbyists and professionals (has a lot of resources, you can also ask questions and get help on things here)
