They met together in middle school and Ash was the one to initiate the friendship.

It was the first day of school and everyone was trying to decide where to sit at lunch. Everyone had already grouped together leaving Ash unsure on where to sit. She saw Stephanie playing on a DS, quickly sat down beside her, and started up a conversation. Rosa saw the two talking together and sat with them.

Rosa wasn't exactly thrilled to sit in on the gaming conversation especially with Ash yapping at 100 miles a minute, but she stuck around because they seemed like genuine people.

1. What's your name?
   • "My name's Ashlie, but my besties call me Ash."
2. Who are the most important people in your life?
   • "Definitely my BFFs, Steph and Rosa. We've known each other for so many years now, that they're like sisters to me. My brother is prooobably a close second. And my parents and aunt, they're a big part of my life. Listen they all mean a lot to me."
3. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
   • "I'd say I'm really good at negotiating and de-escalating situations. I've broken up a lotta fights between Rosa and Steph. Although, it's usually Rosa doing most of the arguing... As for my weaknesses, I guess I'd say I'm impulsive sometimes. I've made some financially unwise decisions before and kinda meant I couldn't pay my share of the rent for a month.."
4. What's your favorite song and why?
   • "Oooh that's a hard question. I got a lot of favorites but Move Along by The All-American Rejects probably takes the top spot right now. It's my go to motivation song when I'm feeling down in the dumps or if I just need a little boost."
5. What is your idea of a really fun time?
   • "Dragging my friends out of the house after convincing them to come hang out with me. No plans, no idea what we're gonna do, just going where the day takes us. And also maybe a stop at Game X Change or GameStop or Hot Topic. Okay there might be a lot of detours but that's not the point."
6. How do you respond to a conflict?
   • "It depends on the kind of conflict. I have a zero tolerance policy on anyone trying to pick a fight with me or someone I know. I may be short, but I am not afraid to throw hands with someone. But, if it's a situation I can talk my way out of or smooth things over, then I'll go with that route."
7. What is your life like at the moment?
   • "I'm really happy with how things are going for me! I'm working my way towards becoming a vet, which is a dream job I've had since I was a kid, I'm surrounded by people I cherish, and I'm the best on the track team! Don't listen to what Chase says, he's lying if he says he's better than me."
