"I wish I had this when I was a kid"

I had a thought cross my mind while I was working, "I wish I had this when I was a kid." Which now that I'm thinking about it, is kind of a double egded sword as is any situation where a child has unrestricted internet access. But.. now that I think about it, I didn't really have the experience of any kinda of online community except Google + (when it was still alive).
I would have loved to get into Tumblr when I was in middle school and fangirl with everybody else about Undertale when it came out. Really influential things that happened around that time, I kinda had to celebrate by myself. I had friends, of course, but I don't think I had it established in my brain then that I could just yap to my friends about things I liked. I suppose I think it may have done me some good to be social outside of school and only school.
Maybe this site can be a homage to my inner child / younger self. ( ´ ω ` )
Lil Off-Topic
I recently made a tumblr account to find graphics and HTML resources and I also got into some old fandom stuff like Undertale. I don't really interact with people but it's nice being in a space where people are really interested in the same thing as you. I haven't seen any toxicity (yet,I'm sure it's bound to happen as it is with any social media) but it seems like a nice enviornment.
It's also very different from Twitter which I really like. I feel like Tumblr is a lil bit more community oriented and you're incouraged to interact a bit more than just liking a post. Also your "for you page" is ACTUALLY a for you page.. UNLIKE TWITTER, THAT NO MATTER WHICH ACCOUNT I'M ON, THAT ARE VERY DIFFERENT IN WHO I FOLLOW, I STILL SEE THE SAME SHIT. ヽ( `д´*)ノ
Not even a "for you page" man. More like "for everyone." I'm trying to stop using Twitter so much since almost everything on my FYP is something negative and it makes me feel like shit after ESSENTIALLY DOOM SCROLLING MY HOME FEED.
I will probably only keep my Twitter so I can support my favorite artists but MAN DO I HATE THAT HELLSITE. (╬ Ò﹏Ó)
